I am dedicating this blog to all of you incredible loving, compassionate, empathetic old souls out there!  I have been working with you, talking with you and taking this journey called life with you for many years now.  Yet there is something very different about this time that we find ourselves in and it seems a lot of old souls are really struggling.  Everyday I talk to old souls whom are feeling very unappreciated, alone and lost.  So I want to take this time to remind you of who you are and why you are here.

You are amazing!  You ARE an old soul! You instantly know how someone is feeling the minute they enter your space.  You feel the pain of others and you truly understand their struggle.  You are there for everyone and everything.  You are the light in the darkness.  You are the sunshine on a cloudy day.  You are that little bit of hope when it seems all hope is lost.

As time shifts so does the energy around us and now, more than ever, you need to make sure that you are taking care of yourselves.  It is time now for you to make yourself a priority. Remember it is NOT your job to take on the suffering of others. It is NOT your job to “fix” anyone (as it is up to each individual to make the necessary changes to “fix” their life).  It is NOT your job to interfere in the free will of others.  It is NOT your job to jump in the pit of despair. Instead you are to stand on the mountain top describing all that awaits to those that are below trying to rise above the challenges they face.  It is by example not by suffering that we can truly change the lives of others.

There is a lot of darkness in this world.  Some get it, some don’t.  Some will and some won’t.  Remember old soul that the more light we bring in the more darkness we see.  Do not allow yourself to be pulled in by the darkness.  Instead shine your light!  A room full of people could be standing in the dark all complaining about the darkness and how they can’t see.  You, my lovely old soul, just you….could light one tiny little match and in that moment everyone in that room would be able to see. This is your mission.  This is why you are here!  You are here to be you.  You are here to shine your light.  You are here to live the happiest life possible.  You are here to give hope to those who are looking to learn, grow and change.

Please make a promise to yourself to start a daily practice.  Every single day do something that replenishes your soul.  Make a commitment to not allow yourself to get pulled into the darkness.  Be particular about who you allow in your most inner circle.  Remember who you are!  There will be many who will try to extinguish your light but remember you are so much stronger than that.  And when you feel unappreciated, alone and lost just simply close your eyes.  Picture yourself floating through the galaxy in your beautiful bubble of light.  Look around and see all of the other bubble…all of the other old souls sharing this space.  Allow yourself to feel their love, their joy and their hope!

I know first hand how tough this journey we have chosen can be. I know first hand how clueless everyone can be to all the struggles we face as we all make it look so easy!  We are old souls.  We are the light.  We are the hope! We are all in this together!
