Behind the Magic: What Manifestation Really Looks Like
Share
I have been waiting a long time to write this blog. In January, I started sharing that I would be attempting my biggest manifestation to date—my move back to the beach. I joked that it would either be my biggest manifestation or an epic failure... Well, I am happy to report that I’ve added another gem to my Manifesting Queen crown. I DID it! “Manifestation: Return to the Beach” is complete!
When people hear the word manifestation, they often picture a magical moment where everything just clicks—the vision board becomes reality, the money flows, the dream job or house appears, and everything feels aligned.
But what most people don’t talk about is the middle—the part where things feel stuck. Where nothing is lining up, your faith is running on fumes, and the people around you start questioning your decisions (and maybe you do, too).
As someone who’s manifested incredible things in her life—and helped countless others do the same—I’m here to tell you: the road isn’t always easy, but it is always worth it.
No one talks about the messy middle, but it’s where the real manifestation happens. My most recent manifestation—relocating back to the beach—was the biggest one yet, and it came with equally big tests. It was seven months of uncertainty, physical exhaustion, spiritual tests, and one gut-check moment after another. There were countless delays, financial strain, and some very difficult people standing in the way! Getting out of my lease in Southern Pines turned into a nightmare (which was very unexpected since I had taken over someone else’s lease without any problems). Setting up the new space? Delayed. Selling the house? Delayed. Income during the transition? I don’t even want to talk about it. Let’s just say I have cried enough tears over the last seven months to fill a small pond. Some days, I felt like I was moving backward—losing momentum, losing visibility, and honestly, losing my mind. I had to step out of the safety of the comfort zone. I had to be willing to go backwards—working out of a one-room office temporarily. I had to take huge financial risks and keep holding the vision even when everything around me looked like chaos. It wasn’t shiny or pretty, but this—this—was the sacred, gritty space where manifestation actually took root.
So what can you do when you’re in the thick of manifesting and it feels like nothing is working?
Here’s what I want you to remember—straight from The Queen of Manifestation herself:
1. Hold the Vision—Even When It Looks Messy
Reconnect with your “why.” You don’t have to know how. I know how hard that can be but the truth is we do not need the step-by-step plan. You just need to believe in your vision.
2. Act in Alignment, Not in Panic
Take small, soul-aligned steps. Don’t let fear run the show. I know firsthand how hard this is to do. My mantra: “Feel the fear and do it anyway.” You are going to be scared. You are going to panic. It is all part of the process. Give yourself permission to feel the emotions—but keep moving forward.
3. Rest is Part of the Process
Pause. Breathe. You don’t have to hustle every second for your dream to unfold. Sometimes you need to just relax, release, and reset. When you hit those walls—those disappointing moments—just go do something else for a moment. Give yourself that time to regroup.
4. Don't Let a Delay Become a Forever Detour
Delays aren’t a sign you shouldn’t continue; they are also just part of the process. Keep your eye on the goal. I personally have a huge issue with this, especially when others are causing delays unnecessarily. GRRR! Never, never allow someone to stand in the way of your dreams!
5. Ask for Support
Manifestation doesn’t mean doing it all alone. Let yourself receive. I have the best people around me. I can never thank them enough for all their love and support during this transition. You absolutely need to surround yourself with people who will hold you up on days when you are just ready to give up. You need to allow them to step in and help!
Here’s what I know for sure: your dream is still on the way.
You may feel stuck, tired, or even defeated right now—but you’re still moving. You’re still manifesting. And your future self is already celebrating your persistence.
The shop is now open in a wonderful new space. The house is sold. I’m renting a home I love. The dream has returned to my favorite zip code. But more than anything—I’m walking proof that when you keep going, even when everything looks impossible, the universe will meet you halfway.
And that is why they call me The Queen of Manifestation.
